Danish conductor Maria Badstue returns to France and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice with an immersive, hour-long program, “From Beethoven to Bartók”, aptly billed by the orchestra as a program that travels “from the most modern of classics to modernity in love with classicism!”. Violinist Sarah Nemtanu performs as soloist in Beethoven’s dazzling Violin Concerto, followed by Bartók’s masterful Concerto for Orchestra.

INDK Symphonic Collaboration takes place in cooperation with Symphony Orchestra of India, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Mumbai, and The Danish Cultural Institute in New Delhi. The season meets with
support from both the Indian Embassy and the Danish Ministry of Culture. All events will take place at the beautiful NCPA in Mumbai.
